| TYSC Teams Prepare for Post-Season Tournament Action |

TYSC writes, "The '97 Arsenal, '96 Freedom, '96 United (challenge), '93 Hibs, U10 Gremio, Rampage, United (recreational) and U12 Wave will travel to compete in tournaments over the summer."

All of TYSC's challenge teams will be in action May 17-18 as they travel to Wilmington to compete in the Jeff Gordon Seaside Classic.
The '97 Arsenal will begin it's final weekend at U10 when is faces the Lake Norman Strikers Claymores at noon Saturday, followed by the GUS Crocodiles at 3PM. Sunday the Arsenal faces the SSL Reptides at 9:30PM.
The '96 United (challenge) begin action at (AM Saturday when they face the Wake Forest United. At 3PM United faces the Richlands Wildcats and, on Sunday a 9:30AM, the Cape Fear Youth Development Program.
The '93 Hibs, finalists at last year's tournament, look to get back to the championship again. The Hibs begin play at 1:30 Saturday versus the Jamestown Jammers Blue, followed by the East Wake Arsenal at 5:30PM.
On the women's side, the '96 Freedom are in action at 7:30 Saturday morning when they face the CASL Lightning. Te Freedom follow that game up with a 1:30 match against the JSA Lancers.
All of the teams have the possibility to advance to the championship rounds depending on the outcome of the preliminary results. Complete tournament coverage, as well as updated schedules and scores, are available at the Seaside Classic Web site:

The U10 (recreational) United and U12 Wave will travel to Greensboro Memorial Day Weekend to compete in the Wrangler/McDonald's Classic. The U10 Gremio and Rampage will be in Greensboro to play in the North Carolina State Games in June. Schedules for those tournaments have not been released.
